"Zoey" went to her first show at 6 months and 4 days to go BOB over Specials and onto a Hound Group 1st!!!! To the best of our knowledge, she is the youngest whippet to have ever won the Hound Group. Zoey went onto to finish easily and was lightly specialed winning several more Hound Groups. But Zoey didn't stop there in the over-achiever department - she was our greatest asset in the whelping box. In my opinion, our most important producer. Not only for what she produced, but how those kids have gone on to produce. We were so fortunate (and lucky) to have such a great bitch land in our hands and home so early in a life with whippets. Zoey's life ended unexpectantly with a bad reaction to anesthesia. We lost her at 9 yrs of age and it still is a hard thing to grasp - we feel robbed of a full life with Zoey. Fortunately, we have many children and grandchildren to keep her alive in our hearts.
